IMPORTANT: The N716-17-18-8L reel is not intended for vertical lift applications. For vertical lift applications or to use 1/2" hose containing heavy liquids, we recommend the N716-19-20-10.5J.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: One (1) N716-19-20-10.5J Hannay Reels spring rewind hose reel. The reel is made from heavy gauge steel and will come painted in a durable graphite gray paint. The reel comes with a pre-installed 1/2" swivel joint. This is a package deal so you will also receive a pre-installed 1/2" x 50' 280 PSI hose and hose stop.

Hannay Reels N700 series spring retractable oil, water or air hose reels can accommodate hoses with an ID (internal diameter) between 1/4" through 1/2". These industrial duty hose reels are constructed from heavy gauge steel that is finished in a durable graphite gray paint consisting of an e-coat base with a two-coat oven-cured enamel finish to weather the elements.
Hannay Reels N700 Series air, oil and water hose reels are the most versatile reels on the market. With a compact, narrow footprint and number of mounting options (truck, trailer, wall, floor or ceiling) the N700 series hose reel can fit anywhere. Roller positions are also easily changeable, if your mounting needs change, so can your reel. The N700 hose reel is suitable for air, water, oil, steam and other general industrial applications.
Inlet at the swivel joint is a 90-degree balanced pressure swivel joint with 1/2" female NPT threads. Outlet on the drum of the reel where the hose attaches has 1/2" female NPT threads. This reel can handle pressures up to 3000 psi (207 bar) and temperatures from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to +400 degrees Fahrenheit. The Hannay N700 series hose reel comes with a 4-way roller assembly to guide the hose smoothly in all directions.
Customizable Roller Positions
Repositionable rollers allow the hose to pay out of the reel in the exact direction you need depending on how the reel is mounted.
Roller Position TR
- Reel will be installed in the upright position at any point from floor to eye level.
- Reel will be installed on floor.
- Reel will be installed on ceiling with hose/cable to pay out parallel to the ceiling.
- Reel will be installed on truck bed or workbench with hose coming off of the top of the reel.
Roller Position SR
- Reel will be installed in the upright position at any point from floor to eye level.
- Reel will be installed on a wall with hose/cable to be retracted close to the wall.
- Reel will be installed on ceiling and hose/cable will pay out parallel to and across the ceiling.
- Reel will be installed on truck bed or workbench with hose coming off of the bottom of the reel.
Roller Position VR
- Reel will be installed in the upright position and hose/cable will be pulled straight up from the reel.
- Reel will be installed on ceiling to lift hose/cable, like in a lube shop.
- Reel will be installed on a wall with hose/cable to be pulled straight out forward.
